One of the winning qualities of BeamNG.drive is its realism. From steering and acceleration, to the car's physics, everything feels consistent with real life. You can crash your vehicle in countless ways. Its body responds to the impact, and the game will simulate corresponding damages. When your car is completely destroyed, the scenario will reset and you can crash it again.

There’s an extensive selection of cars available and a variety of maps to drive them in. You can modify your cars however you want: body, colors, and lights. You don’t have to unlock them, as BeamNG plays in sandbox style. Get access to all features and roam at will in any game area you desire.

You have the option of customizing your own scenarios in this game. Spawn some AI-driven cars and give them a specific playstyle, and they follow that order. It includes running away from you, or constantly trying to crash into you. You can further extend this feature by creating your own mods.

After a while, players will find themselves doing the same thing over and over again. There is no real progression in this game besides learning more about the controls. You only focus on driving around and crashing into things. The game doesn’t keep any stats or achievements, so you have nothing to show for your efforts.
